What you'll do
The Fund Admin Transformation program will involve software and integration
development supporting:
• NAV calculations, workflow, and processing
• Fund Administrator shadow investor balance and income/expense allocations
• Capital activity workflow, processing, and payments
• Fund and investor data analytics for Investor Relations, Finance, and Management
Responsibilities This Software Engineer will play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering solutions for the Fund Admin Transformation program, while also supporting ongoing Finance / Fund Admin department technology needs. This position is hands-on, with a strong emphasis on building high-quality, scalable, and data-driven systems, and will report directly to the Director, Fund Administration Technology. • Design and develop software solutions for capital activity/wire processing, investor relationship management, fee calculations, shadow expense/income allocations, and NAV calculators. • Implement cloud-based, scalable microservice applications that integrate seamlessly with existing systems and data platforms. • Collaborate closely with the Director and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. • Participate in full SDLC processes including requirements gathering, architecture/design, coding, testing, deployment, and documentation. • Build and maintain integrations with internal and external systems (e.g., fund administrators, data providers, finance platforms). • Contribute to the establishment of Agile development practices and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. • Develop and optimize SQL-based data solutions, data pipelines, and analytics tools for Finance and Investor Relations. • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and performance optimization for developed applications. Qualifications • Proven hands-on experience in developing fund administration or financial systems. • Solid understanding of functional concepts including management fees, incentive fee structures, LP/hedge fund allocations, subscriptions/redemptions, and return calculations. • Knowledge of corporate accounting concepts, including general ledger structures, intercompany allocations, and consolidated reporting.
Strong technical skills in: o .NET/C# for backend services o Microservice architecture design and implementation o SQL Server for data processing and analytics o Azure cloud services (Data Bricks experience is a plus) • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with leadership and peers. • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering robust, maintainable, and scalable solutions. • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
