Description Conduct evaluations for patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments while crafting tailored treatment plans. Implement physical therapy interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function. Work collaboratively with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation specialists to optimize patient outcomes. Guide patients and their families through understanding therapeutic objectives, discharge planning, and home exercises. Maintain detailed documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progress in compliance with institutional and regulatory standards. Engage in care team meetings and interdisciplinary discussions to guarantee continuous and coordinated care. Education
A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent qualification from an accredited institution. Certifications
State licensure as a
Physical Therapist . CPR certification preferred. Additional specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are beneficial but not mandatory. Skills
Previous experience is highly desirable. Capacity to manage patients with complex medical and mobility challenges. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Familiarity with digital charting and clinical documentation systems. Benefits
