Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of outpatient experience for a day shift assignment focusing on pediatric and adult neurodevelopmental care.
Responsibilities Outpatient therapy setting specializing in pediatric care Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Caseload includes both pediatric and adult patients with neurodevelopmental or learning disabilities Role requires conducting pediatric evaluations and providing neuro rehab services First-time travelers are welcome to apply A 70-mile radius rule is strictly enforced; local candidates are not accepted Travelers must complete OSHA Respirator Clearance before starting and be clean shaven for FIT testing Pre-start modules must be completed and are recorded on transcripts A six-month break is required before returning if previously employed as a traveler at this facility
Requirements Active state Occupational Therapist license required if applicable Minimum 1 year of experience in outpatient settings with both adult and pediatric populations Proficiency in cognitive assessment, electrical stimulation, kinesiotaping, splinting, and home exercise program design Experience with patient and family education, safety, and injury prevention Ability to perform safe patient lifting and transfers Two recent professional references from supervisors within the past 2 years
