Job Description American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a day-shift outpatient position with experience in both pediatric and adult neurodevelopmental treatments.
Responsibilities Outpatient occupational therapy setting Day shift, Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Caseload includes adults and pediatrics with autism, learning disabilities, and neurodevelopmental conditions Skills needed include cognitive assessment, electrical stimulation, kinesiotaping, splinting, home exercise programs, lifting and transfers, patient and family education, and safety and injury prevention First-time travelers are accepted for this role Candidates must reside at least 70 miles from the facility Two professional references from supervisors within the past two years are required for consideration
Requirements State OT license required if applicable Minimum 1 year of experience in adult and pediatric outpatient settings Experience with neurodevelopmental treatments required Comfortable conducting pediatric evaluations and adult neuro cases
