Yakima, WA
to hire a
Mental Health Therapist . This role is ideal for a licensed clinician who thrives in a
multidisciplinary team environment
and is passionate about working with
children, adolescents, and families .
You'll provide comprehensive outpatient therapy services to underserved populations in a supportive, collaborative setting where high-quality, client-centered care is the priority.
Position Highlights Competitive Annual Salary: Level III: ~$89,687.50 Level IV: ~$102,500
Hiring Bonus:
Structured payouts at hire, 90 days, and 180 days (pro-rated by FTE). Relocation Assistance Available Full Benefits Package:
Medical, dental, vision, PTO, holidays, and retirement plan participation provided by the employer. What You'll Do
Conduct
integrated biopsychosocial assessments
and client intake sessions. Develop and implement treatment plans consistent with DSM-5 and evidence-based guidelines. Review and update treatment plans collaboratively with clients and care teams. Document all services provided in the
Electronic Health Record (EHR)
in compliance with clinical, coding, and billing requirements. Provide
crisis intervention
and connect individuals with appropriate follow-up care. Collaborate with case managers and community resources to ensure wraparound support. Present clinical findings to peers and supervisors, including case presentations and reviews. Maintain compliance with
Joint Commission (TJC)
and state/federal standards. Who We're Looking For
A
licensed therapist
(or associate-level therapist with supervision eligibility) who has direct experience with children/adolescents. A strong
team collaborator
with experience in complex, multi-service treatment plans. Someone adaptable and compassionate, committed to supporting underserved communities. Bilingual English/Spanish
strongly preferred, but not required. Qualifications
Education
Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 45 days of hire. Level III (Associate Licenses)
- Will be considered if supervision is secured:
Licensed Social Worker Associate Advanced (LSWAA) Licensed Social Worker Associate Independent Clinical (LSWAIC) Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist Associate (LMFTA) Agency Affiliated Counselor (can be obtained post-hire) Preferred: 2+ years' direct mental health experience, with at least 1 year working with children/adolescents. Level IV (Independent Licenses)
- Required for senior designation:
Licensed Advanced Social Worker (LASW) Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) Required: 2+ years post-graduate direct clinical experience, with 1+ year child/adolescent experience preferred.
