Job Description
The Commercial Estimator will:
Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects. Analyze project requirements, blueprints, and specifications to determine costs. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information. Evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals to ensure competitive pricing. Track project costs and provide updates to ensure budgets are met. Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend value engineering solutions. Maintain a database of historical costs for future reference and benchmarking. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards during the estimation process. The Successful Applicant
A successful Commercial Estimator should have:
A strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and labor costs. Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred. What's on Offer
