Job Summary: The Epic Billing Analyst is responsible for supporting the Epic EHR system with a focus on the billing and revenue cycle modules. This role involves system configuration, workflow improvement, end-user support, implementation of upgrades, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure efficient billing operations.
Job Responsibilities: • Configure and maintain Epic's Resolute Professional Billing or Hospital Billing modules • Analyze workflows and recommend process improvements • Provide primary support for end users and resolve system issues • Participate in new system implementations and upgrades • Collaborate with IT, billing, and finance teams • Document workflows and system changes • Create and analyze reports to support data-driven decisions • Assist in training efforts for new application features • Participate in on-call rotation for 24/7 support Requirements: • Minimum 2-3 years supporting healthcare IT systems, especially in billing • Epic experience required; Resolute PB or HB modules preferred • Epic certification highly preferred or must be obtained within six months • Bachelor's degree in IT, Healthcare Informatics, or related field (Associate's with experience may be considered) • Strong analytical, technical, and communication skills • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project tools • Understanding of healthcare billing, revenue cycle processes, and HIPAA
