Overview
The Site Coordinator for the 21st Century Community Learning Center is part of the TRIO Programs, including 21st Century Community Learning Center, which provides academic enrichment support to students from middle school through college. The mission of the NCSU programs is to provide equal access to quality education and to encourage and motivate participants to enroll and graduate from college. The focus is to manage day-to-day logistics at one of two target high schools for the program, and to tutor students in areas of expertise. Responsibilities
Managing paperwork and required documentation, either hard copy or electronically, including attendance, services provided, etc. Develop and manage the agenda at the site to best suit the needs of the school and students. Provide tutorial services in areas of expertise that align with the North Carolina high school curriculum. Conduct or secure facilitators for Special Labs, which may include instruction in ACT test prep, STEM exposure and instrument, workforce development skills, family enrichment activities, etc. Ensure Tutors are present and providing services to students. Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Education, Counseling, Social Science, Project Management, or equivalent field required. Google suites experience. Ability to lift at least 25lbs (student supplies). Project management experience (preferred). Experience in student advising in high school (preferred). Instructional and/or tutorial experience (preferred). Work Information
