Low Voltage Department Manager

Our Employee-Ownedcompany has an immediate full-time opening for a Department Manager - Low Voltage Systems to lead our growing team in delivering high-quality solutions across the CCTV, Access Control, and specialized low voltage systems markets. This role will be responsible for driving new business opportunities, managing project execution, and leading a skilled team of professionals.

The ideal candidate brings a blend of field experience, project management expertise, and leadership ability, with a strong track record in low voltage systems.

Job Duties:

Business Development

The ability to procure business (sales). Build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and vendors to generate new business opportunities. Identify and execute growth opportunities in the low voltage market and develop strategies to capture market share. Partner with internal leadership on bids, proposals, and pricing strategies. Project Management

Oversee the planning, scheduling, and successful delivery of multiple low voltage projects. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Collaborate with field teams to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project execution. Monitor job costs and financial performance of department projects. Technical Expertise

Provide subject matter expertise in CCTV, Access Control, Security Systems, Fire Alarm, and other low voltage technologies. Stay current on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices. Guide system design, installation methods, and technical troubleshooting when needed. Qualifications

5-7 years of experience in the low voltage industry. Low Voltage sales experience required. Proven track record in project management and team leadership. Strong knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, and other low voltage/specialized systems. Experience managing budgets, proposals, and client relationships. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience). Field experience preferred but not required. Systems experience specifically in CCTV, Access control, and/or other specialized systems.
