Civil Engineer
as they continue growing and serving clients in the Des Moines Metro. We are looking for individuals who possess the ability to be client-facing to maximize their professional capacity. Work model:
On-Site What you will do:
Work effectively and professionally with internal team members and external client personnel Attend client meetings, planning commission meetings, city council meetings Ability to take a project from start to finish, acting as a project engineer Use Civil 3D Pipe Networks to design horizontal and vertical alignments for stormwater, sanitary, and water mains on-site development projects Perform field assessment of existing infrastructure and construction observation Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and modeling, including stormwater detention and water quality BMP design Assist with site grading and design What you will need to be successful: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering 2+ years of experience Experience in paving, grading, and drainage plans Proven ability working within a client-facing role Ability to work in AutoCAD and Civil Design 3-D Interested and qualified candidates can contact Chad Weir at (515) 225-7000 or email Chad at cweir@thepalmergroup.com .
