is seeking a seasoned and visionary leader to join the team as the Director of Critical Care in
Everett, Washington.
In this pivotal role, you will oversee the strategic and operational management of our critical care units, including the
Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Coronary Care Unit (CCU ), and other related departments. Your leadership will be essential in ensuring the highest standards of patient care, staff development, and operational efficiency within the critical care services.

Provide strategic direction and leadership for the critical care units, aligning departmental goals with the hospital's mission and objectives. Oversee the daily operations of the ICU, CCU, and other critical care departments, ensuring that patient care is delivered efficiently, effectively, and in compliance with all regulatory requirements. Lead and mentor a team of nursing managers, charge nurses, and staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning, professional growth, and excellence in patient care. Drive quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes, reducing complications, and improving overall patient safety within the critical care units. Manage the budget and resources for the critical care departments, ensuring optimal utilization of staff, equipment, and supplies. Champion patient safety protocols and ensure that all staff adhere to best practices in infection control, medication administration, and emergency response. Work closely with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for critically ill patients. Develop, implement, and enforce policies and procedures that promote high standards of care, operational efficiency, and staff accountability. Represent the critical care services in hospital committees, community outreach programs, and professional organizations, promoting the hospital's reputation as a leader in critical care. Candidate requirements
Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington. Minimum of 7 years of experience in critical care nursing, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role. BLS and ACLS certifications are required; CCRN certification is preferred. Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, proficiency in budgeting and resource management, and a deep commitment to patient-centered care.
