Job Title: Experienced Shipping Clerk
Location: Zephyr Tool Group - Inglewood, CA Employment Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:45pm Salary: $18.50 - $22.50 depending on experience
Summary:
Zephyr Tool Group is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and self-motivated. Prior experience is helpful but not necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and process shipments using UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, DHL, and LTL/TL freight carriers Coordinate domestic and international shipping logistics Accurately package, label, and document outbound shipments Maintain organized shipping and receiving records Communicate effectively with internal departments and external carriers Verify contents of shipments and inspect for damage or discrepancies Lift and move packages up to 75 lbs regularly Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment Qualifications:
Previous shipping/receiving experience in a warehouse or logistics setting not required but a plus. Proficiency with a computer and data entry. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with ERP or inventory management systems a plus Familiarity with customs forms and international compliance regulations a plus Why Join Us?
