Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Sr. Maintenance Technician (Level 2) to support maintenance operations in our semiconductor cleaning facility. This mid-level role requires solid technical knowledge and hands-on experience in maintaining critical infrastructure systems. You will work closely with senior technicians and engineers to ensure system reliability, safety, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities: Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of facility systems including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing infrastructure. Assist in maintaining high-voltage electrical systems (up to 480 VAC 3-phase), process utilities, and cleanroom support systems. Support rebuilds and alignments of pumps, motors, and rotating equipment. Participate in equipment installations, retrofits, and facility upgrades under guidance. Collaborate with engineering, EHS, and production teams to maintain system reliability and compliance. Monitor system performance and report issues or improvement opportunities. Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and maintenance logs. Follow all cleanroom, environmental, and safety protocols. Safely handle and work with harsh chemicals, including acids, solvents, and process gases, following all PPE and hazardous material handling procedures. Support chemical delivery systems, leak detection, and emergency response protocols. Strictly adhere to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures during maintenance and repair of energized systems. Oversee vendors or trades for specialized maintenance or repair work to the facility. Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); two plus year's related experience and or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Technical certificate, associates degree in a related field, and/or experience in chemical plant maintenance preferred. At the discretion of the Facilities Maintenance Manager, parts of this requirement may be waived. 3+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance, preferably in a semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing environment. Proficiency in electrical systems (low voltage to 480 VAC 3-phase), plumbing (PVC, copper, stainless steel), and mechanical systems. Basic understanding of cleanroom utility systems (DI water, PCW, CDA, vacuum, exhaust). Ability to read and interpret blueprints, P&IDs, and schematics. Experience with CMMS and maintenance planning tools.
