Travel Job Title:Registered Nurse - Oncology Chemo Certified / hematology- oncology Location: Columbus, OH 43210 Contract Duration: 16 weeks Shift: 12-hour shifts, rotating days and nights (07:00 - 19:30 / 19:00 - 07:30) Responsibilities:
Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing chemotherapy and bone marrow transplants. Administer chemotherapy, blood products, and manage central/peripheral lines and ports. Monitor telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias. Recognize and respond to oncologic emergencies, graft rejection, and graft-versus-host disease. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including PT, respiratory, pharmacy, social services, and rapid response teams. Adhere strictly to infection prevention protocols and patient safety standards. Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years RN experience, with at least 1 year in hematology/oncology and MS oncology. Chemotherapy certification required (ONS/ONCC). BLS required; ACLS preferred. Experience with Epic charting system preferred. Skilled in IV therapy, blood product administration, and central line care. Ability to work flexible rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
