Required Qualifications
:
High School diploma or equivalent Valid Michigan driver's license Must be able to periodically lift up to 50 pounds Must relate well with students, staff and community Must be able to follow oral and written directions Responsibilities
:
Shall carry out general cleaning duties as assigned Shall daily inspect his/her assigned area(s) to ascertain that a high level of cleanliness and safety exists Shall be alert for equipment malfunctions or other maintenance problems to the Building Engineer Shall take action necessary to ensure building and grounds security Shall promote districtwide efforts in energy conservation Shall promote and contribute to the general welfare of students Shall perform other duties assigned by the Building Engineer or the building administrator(s) Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
This position requires long periods of standing, sitting, and walking. The position requires lifting of supplies and movement of classroom furnishings during the course of the school day. Work takes place both indoors and outdoors, with some travel to other schools.

Schedule:
On call as needed, must be available for day or afternoon shifts
Hourly Rate:
$18.25
