Preferred Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Must be able to follow directions Must work well with adults and students Must be in good health and be able to do routine lifting and bending Must be clean, well-groomed and appropriately dressed at all times Must be able to work in conditions of higher-than-normal heat and humidity Job Description:
Shall maintain food production standards established by the Mason Public Schools Food Service Department and comply with the State of Michigan Health Code. Shall be responsible for the cleanliness and orderliness of his/her work area. Shall assist in other work areas when assigned work is completed. Shall assist in checking all menu items to ensure ample time for food preparation and deliveries. Shall show respect and courtesy to fellow employees and student helpers. Shall promote teamwork and harmony with fellow employees. Shall maintain confidentiality for all school-related information. Shall perform other duties assigned by the Food Service Director or designee. Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
Position may require long periods of standing, sitting, and walking Position requires physical exertion to manually move, lift, carry, pull, or push materials Position may include possible travel to other schools

Training Available
All candidates are required to complete the StyleProfile™ assessment as a component of their application. This assessment is intended to be one component of the information used to assist administrators during the selection process. Once the application has been submitted, the StyleProfile™ assessment will be assigned. The StyleProfile™ assessment is approximately 30 minutes in length and is a multiple-choice format.
