Job Title: Building Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Building Engineer to join our team, responsible for troubleshooting, service, and preventative maintenance of facilities equipment. The role requires a keen understanding of HVAC systems, mechanical components, plumbing, and electrical systems in commercial settings.
Responsibilities
Perform troubleshooting and preventative maintenance of facilities equipment.
Manage HVAC systems including heating equipment, chillers, boilers, cooling towers, exhaust fans, VAVs, and rooftop units.
Maintain mechanical systems such as valves, compressors, pumps, steam stations, and motors.
Oversee plumbing systems including fixtures, toilets, urinals, flush valves, and sinks.
Conduct electrical maintenance on lights, outlets, breakers, and generators.
Essential Skills
5+ years of facilities maintenance experience in commercial or industrial properties.
Proficiency in HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical maintenance.
EPA Universal certification.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Skills in preventive and predictive maintenance.
Strong troubleshooting abilities.

Work Environment
Work within a commercial office building. The role primarily operates during the 1st shift from Monday to Friday, with a rotating on-call schedule for emergencies after hours and on weekends.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milford, Ohio.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.78 - $33.86/hr.
