Assembler (Level B)
to join the Propulsion Team in
North Charleston, South Carolina
on
variable shift.
Position Responsibilities:
Perform routine production assembly operations on structural parts, mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies, and equipment using manual or automated assembly tools Model a culture of One Team, Pride, and Ownership Partner with Integrated Build Teams (IBTs) and Team Leaders to mitigate performance risks using Systematic Problem Solving (SPS) methodologies Identify roadblocks and production constraints; escalate unresolved issues through open and clear communication Use KPI and BPS principles to improve production flow and work environment Support overtime as required to meet customer commitments Participate in Lean Manufacturing Systems (LMS) and 5S activities Support teammates by providing cross-training and mentoring to improve overall team performance Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
1+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing Ability to work any assigned shift Able to perform work at elevated heights Able to perform work overhead and above shoulder level Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
1+ years of experience in aviation Capable of obtaining fall protection certification Drug Free Workplace:
