Overview:

We are seeking an experienced

Industrial Controls Engineer

with strong expertise in robotics and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). This role will be responsible for designing, programming, troubleshooting, and optimizing automated systems that support our manufacturing and production operations. The ideal candidate has a hands-on background with industrial robotics, PLC programming, and control system integration, along with a continuous improvement mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement control systems for automated equipment and production lines.

Program, test, and troubleshoot PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar platforms).

Integrate and maintain industrial robotic systems (Fanuc, ABB, KUKA, Yaskawa, etc.).

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new equipment installations, upgrades, and commissioning.

Develop HMI/SCADA applications for operator interfaces and system monitoring.

Provide technical support for controls-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime.

Maintain accurate documentation including electrical schematics, control logic, and system changes.

Drive continuous improvement projects to increase efficiency, safety, and system reliability.

Stay current on emerging automation technologies and recommend upgrades as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field (or equivalent experience).

3+ years of experience in industrial automation, controls engineering, or related role.

Proficiency in PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or equivalent).

Hands-on experience with industrial robotics (programming, troubleshooting, and integration).

Strong knowledge of control system architecture, safety circuits, and industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Profibus, Modbus, etc.).

Experience with HMI/SCADA development .

Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
