Job Summary
A Wider Circle is seeking a dedicated Grants Manager to support organizational fundraising efforts. The Grants Manager will report to the Director of Grants and Contracts and will assist in overseeing the full lifecycle of foundation, corporate, and government grants and contracts, from proposal development to compliance, reporting, and invoicing. The first month will be on-site and will gradually increase up to 60% remote.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft proposals, reports, and other materials for government, foundation, and corporate funders, reflecting organizational requirements and funder priorities
Maintain working knowledge of program budgets, basic financial attachments, and other supporting documentation
Conduct prospect research to identify and qualify grant funding opportunities
Develop fluency in program data and accurately incorporate into proposals and other requests
Work closely with the Director of Grants & Contracts to manage grants calendars, deadlines, and deliverables and ensure compliance with grant requirements.
Maintain accurate records of proposals, contracts, reports, and invoicing using project management tools
Prepare and submit invoices in accordance with contract terms
Coordinate across departments to gather program and evaluation data to monitor progress toward grant deliverables and outcomes.
Support special projects or cross-team initiatives related to grants
Attending fundraising and networking events as needed
Qualifications:
Excellent writing and editing skills
(writing sample required).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Demonstrated project management abilities, ability to manage multiple deadlines and shifting priorities
Familiarity with nonprofit finance, budgets, and development process.
Knowledge of government contracting and grants management strongly preferred
3+ years of experience in grant writing, compliance, or contract administration (nonprofit or government experience is a plus).
Bachelor's degree or above
Proficiency with Google Workspace and MS office
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

Must be authorized to work in the United States
