We are seeking a motivated and experienced
Non-Asset Agriculture Carrier Dispatcher
to join our fast-paced logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating freight between shippers and a network of reliable third-party carriers. As a non-asset-based logistics company, your ability to build relationships, problem-solve in real-time, and manage multiple shipments simultaneously is critical to ensuring timely and cost-effective deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
Source, negotiate rates, and book loads with third-party carriers Manage and monitor freight from pickup to delivery ensuring on-time performance Maintain constant communication with carriers, drivers, and customers Track and trace shipments proactively and provide status updates Use TMS (Transportation Management System) software to update shipment details Build and maintain strong relationships with carrier partners Resolve issues related to delays, damaged freight, or missed appointments Ensure all compliance standards are met, including carrier qualifications and safety records Maintain proper documentation for all loads and transactions Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelors degree preferred) 3-5 years of experience in agriculture dispatching, logistics, or brokerage (non-asset preferred) Familiarity with DOT regulations and carrier compliance Strong negotiation and communication skills Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Proficient in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite Self-starter with a high level of initiative and accountability Preferred Skills:
Experience working with load boards (DAT, Truckstop, etc.) Knowledge of various freight types (dry van, reefer, flatbed, LTL) Existing carrier network connections What We Offer
