Description of Work Black Mountain Neuro-Medical Treatment Center (BMNTC) is accepting student applications for our full-time CNA Training Class. Our next class begins on September 3, 2025.

The recruitment range for this position is $31,200.00 - $44,621.00 annually.

Are you looking to become CNA certified? BMNTC is currently seeking candidates for upcoming on-site CNA classes. If selected, you will be employed full-time and eligible for benefits. During the course, the work schedule will typically be Monday - Friday, daytime hours, 40 hours per week. Employees will participate in classroom instruction, in-service training, on-the-job training, job shadowing and clinicals. The state testing for CNA certification is included in the course at no charge to the employee. Continued employment is contingent upon successfully completing the Nurse Aide I program and obtaining certification as a Nurse Aide.

The HCT I (CNA) is the primary person responsible for the implementation of individual care plans.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: obtaining vital signs training and assisting patients with activities of daily living providing ongoing observation, interaction, and feedback to patients reporting concerns and recommendations to appropriate professional program staff other duties as delegated by and completed under the supervision of a Registered Nurse IMPORTANT NOTE: Please keep this in mind when completing your application. Position Number: The advertised position number may be for recruiting purposes only. Upon successful completion of the CNA course and exam, employees are assigned to an available position. The following shift hours and pay additions are offered: Work Schedule Shift Premium

1st shift: 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM 5% Weekend

2nd shift: 2:45 PM - 11:15 PM 20% Weekday & 25% Weekend

3rd shift: 10:45 PM - 7:15 AM 20% Weekday & 25% Weekend Work schedules include weekend and holiday rotations. Flexibility is required for training/education purposes and to meet the needs of the facility. This position is designated MANDATORY and MUST report or stay over during adverse weather events and/or other emergencies. ABOUT BLACK MOUNTAIN NEURO-MEDICAL TREATMENT CENTER: Black Mountain Neuro-Medical Treatment Center is one of three state operated facilities serving adults with chronic and complex medical conditions that co-exist with neurodevelopmental or neurocognitive disorders often related to a diagnosis of severe and persistent mental illness or intellectual disability. The health and physical status of these residents require 24-hour supervision, daily nursing care, and assistance with activities of daily living.
