This is a senior-level technical engineering role within the Markets Technology Services team. The Principal Integration Engineer will play a central role in delivering and supporting enterprise-grade integrations across Aztec's private markets application landscape - including eFront, Yardi, Medius, Databricks, and key reporting, analytics, and investor services platforms.

Using a modern Microsoft and MuleSoft-based integration stack - including C#, .NET, SQL, SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Azure Integration Services, and the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform - you will develop secure, scalable, and maintainable integrations that underpin Aztec's high-touch, high-tech operating model.

This is a hands-on role with strategic importance in delivering automation, straight-through processing, and enterprise data sharing at scale Key responsibilities: Integration Development & Delivery

Design, build, and maintain high-quality integration solutions using C#/.NET, SQL Server, SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Azure Integration Services, and MuleSoft Develop APIs, reusable connectors, and pipelines across systems such as eFront Invest/Debt, Yardi Voyager, Medius, Databricks, and structured reporting environments Support both real-time and batch integrations for business-critical processes across investor onboarding, fund accounting, cash processing, and reporting Client Connectivity & Data Exchange Deliver secure, scalable client data exchanges through:

SFTP for scheduled extracts and uploads Delta Data Sharing (DDS) via Databricks RESTful APIs for direct client system integrations

Configure and support industry specific third-party data exchange platforms such as GoConnect and Atlas, aligning with Aztec's standardised data model and client delivery framework Integration Platform Support Design and maintain MuleSoft APIs, flows, and reusable components via Anypoint Studio Administer API Manager, monitor platform health, and enforce security policies aligned with enterprise architecture standards Collaborate with solution architects and enterprise architects to ensure alignment with broader integration architecture and roadmap Cross-Team Collaboration Work collaboratively with: Integration engineers across the wider Technology department to ensure consistency and reusability Application and platform owners across Markets and Enterprise services Data and reporting engineers to deliver integration-enabled data pipelines and automation Operational Support & Documentation

Provide Level 2/3 support for integration incidents and system interoperability issues Maintain and enforce technical documentation and support procedures for all integrations under your remit Ensure adherence to Aztec's standards for security, audit, and regulatory compliance (e.g. GDPR, ISO27001, SOC2) Skills, Knowledge, and Experience Essential 5+ years' experience in integration development, preferably in an enterprise environment Hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (API design, API Manager, DataWeave transformations, RAML/Swagger specifications) Good understanding of integration design patterns (API-led connectivity, synchronous/asynchronous messaging, batch) Proven experience developing secure, scalable integrations between SaaS, on-prem, and cloud-based systems (e.g., eFront, Yardi, Investran, Quantios) Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps) Knowledge of data formats and standards (JSON, XML, CSV, SOAP, REST, GraphQL) Understanding of security best practices (OAuth2, JWT, TLS/SSL, API gateways) Strong working knowledge of: C# and .NET SQL Server and T-SQL SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Azure Integration Services Git for source control and CI/CD collaboration

Experience integrating or supporting data exchange with: Accelex (for portfolio data extraction) eFront Invest and FIS Investran ( fund accounting) Quantios / TrustQuay (entity management and company secretarial systems) Workiva (financial reporting and controls) Anaplan (for complex waterfall modelling and financial forecasting) Backend database knowledge of eFront Invest - including table structure, relationships, and data lineage - would be a significant advantage. Personal Attributes Logical and methodical approach to integration design and problem-solving Comfortable navigating complex business domains and translating them into robust technical solutions Collaborative, proactive, and capable of engaging across stakeholders with varying technical knowledge Highly delivery-focused and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline MuleSoft certification (e.g., MuleSoft Certified Developer - Level 1) Exposure to enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF) and security standards is beneficial Certifications in relevant tools, platforms, or cloud services (e.g., Azure, API/middleware platforms) are an advantage
