YOUR ROLE
Legacy Marketing is seeking a highly qualified Sales and Marketing Specialist to represent a portfolio of iconic spirit brands, focusing on their Ready-to Drink range in New Orleans, Louisiana. The role is a portfolio focused, highly specialized sales position responsible for working with the local Sales and Marketing team to increase distribution, drive sales volume in target accounts and build customer affinity towards the brands. This role will work closely with the local State Manager and will be responsible for Market Execution, Key Account Management, and Client/Consumer Engagement.
This is a temporary part-time role through June 30th, 2026, with an opportunity to extend up to 12 additional months.
RESPONSIBILITES
MARKET EXECUTION Deliver on defined KPI goals related to market Points of Distribution, Menu Placements, Staff Engagement, and Trade Activations within target account list. Lead key account management structure and segmentation in the New Orleans market, prioritizing opportunities to engage the right consumer at the right account for the right occasion. Employ a highly disciplined selling approach to gain new points of distribution and increase rate of sale within a targeted list of key accounts designed to influence the broader market by emphasizing product placement, quality and premium programming where applicable. Maintain a constant presence in the market and engage in local creative scenes, events, parties, launches and social settings, developing contacts, networking and building awareness about the brand. Identify and pursue new opportunities for brand growth, leading effective collaboration and engagement with local distributor sales force to drive sales, volume and increase market penetration in defined territories. ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
Champion the brand and socialize the brand's unique style proposition with account decision-makers, service staff, and trade influencers by educating brand history and values, intrinsic qualities and serving rituals. Manage budgets, tactical resources and tools to maximize ROI. Assume the role of "Brand Expert/Brand Ambassador" for all consumer and account related activities, building authentic and enduring relationships with social influencers and key opinion leaders to elevate brand perception and image while also leveraging opportunities to increase sales. CLIENT/CUSTOMER ENGAGEMENT
Exemplify the positive attributes of being a team player and team builder with all related sales personnel, cross-functional agencies and local/national counterparts. Manage daily and weekly performance via internal tracking system and effectively communicate results to identified stakeholders on a regular cadence. Deliver on all administrative duties in a thorough and timely manner as defined and requested by upper management. REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing, sales and/or F&B management, preferably with a beverage alcohol brand Enthusiastic, entrepreneurial, self-disciplined and driven team player with the ability to solve problems, take initiative, think innovatively and make fast-paced decisions with a degree of autonomy while prioritizing the best interests of the group over personal gains Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint Must not be involved with, working for, or representing any other beer, seltzer, wine or spirit brand Must be comfortable with online reporting Must be available to work a flexible schedule including both during regular business hours and evening and weekends as required Travel may be requested within the state. 90% New Orleans / 10% Area surrounding New Orleans SALARY & OTHER INFORMATION
$44,000-$48,000/Year
- An employee's pay position within the salary range is based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance & travel requirements. The On-Premise Specialist - RTD position is
part-time
with an anticipated schedule of 25-30 hours/week.
