SUMMARY:

The Leaguers, Inc. is seeking a full time Parent & Alumni Coordinator for the Head Start/ Early Head Start Program.

POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Parent and Alumni Coordinator is responsible for developing a strong relationship with parents of minor adult alumni, and adult alumni to foster a sense of community to promote the Leaguers as a partner in their growth and development. The alumni coordinator will be a partner in recruiting of children and staff to ensure Leaguers long term sustainability.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

In collaboration with CEO, develop a clear plan to identify and recruit a formal alumni association of Leaguers Alumni children who attended the Leaguers birth to five program; In collaboration with the Data Manager, develop a database of Leaguers alumni by year of graduation, ensuring accurate records; Plan and organize alumni events, including re-unions and network speaking services; Conduct surveys and gather feedback from alumni to improve initiatives; Collaborate with the social media team to provide content relative to alumni activities including achievements; Develop and implement communication strategies to keep alumni engaged; Develop promotional materials and newsletters for alumni; Perform other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor degree in early childhood or related field; Minimum of five years' experience working in a community-based pre-school environment.
