Job Title: Assembly Operator
Job Description
The Assembly Operator is responsible for completing job cards, routers, and job documentation as required. This role involves operating various equipment necessary for manufacturing cable assemblies, maintaining material traceability, and ensuring quality through visual and tactile inspection.
Responsibilities
Complete job cards, routers, and job documentation as required.
Operate various manufacturing equipment to produce cable assemblies.
Maintain material traceability by completing records of materials usage for each job.
Monitor and perform visual and tactile inspection of assembled parts.
Perform proof-loading of assembled parts.
Gather samples for start-up and in-process testing and inspection.
Package and label processed material according to job card instructions.
Report part or process quality issues to supervisors or quality personnel.
Essential Skills
Comfortable with assembly line operations and visual inspection.
Experience with hand tools and cable assembly preferred.
Ability to conduct visual inspection of completed products.
Excellent documentation practices.
Ability to analyze data and make recommendations.
Strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced setting.
Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing defects.
Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Prior manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
Demonstrated ability to self-motivate.
Excellent attention to detail.
Work Environment
The work environment involves handling various manufacturing equipment in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Allendale, New Jersey.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
