Family Support Specialist
LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring a Family Support Specialist for our healthcare client located in the North Hollywood area. This position will be in-office and field-work throughout LA County and interested candidates must have a reliable form of transportation and valid driver's license. This role will be a contract-to-hire opportunity and full-time hours.
This role will assist a multi-disciplinary team in supporting a caseload of adolescent clients along their individualized service plans. This person will be providing guidance to their clients on how to achieve their goals and working with guardians and parents to provide resources for behaviors, medical needs, and other necessary resources needed to help clients and families.
Requirements Bachelor's Degree required
Minimum 1 year experience working with adolescents and/or youth experiencing behavioral/mental health ailments
Must be proficient working within Microsoft Office and EMR Systems
Must have a reliable form of transportation and valid driver's license
Skills
Empathy and compassion towards others while being able to maintain professional boundaries
Can work well in high pressure situations and de-escalate calmly as needed
Strong ability to adapt to multiple tasks throughout the day and prioritize as needed
Excellent attention to detail and ability to be accurate in case notes
Can meet deadlines on a regular basis as needed
