Housing Navigator - Temp-to-Hire | San Diego, CA | $24-$26/hr
A mission-driven social services organization in San Diego, CA is hiring a
Housing Navigator
to support individuals experiencing homelessness. This temp-to-hire role is ideal for someone passionate about housing equity and community outreach. Position Summary The Housing Navigator will work directly with vulnerable populations to assess housing needs, develop individualized plans, and connect clients with appropriate services. This role involves fieldwork and travel within San Diego County. Key Responsibilities
Conduct housing assessments and identify barriers such as income, rental history, or disability Develop and implement personalized housing plans Coordinate with landlords, shelters, and service providers to secure housing Maintain accurate case documentation and track client progress Travel locally for client meetings, outreach, and housing appointments Qualifications
Experience working with homeless or at-risk populations Knowledge of housing programs and community resources Strong advocacy and interpersonal skills Willingness to travel within San Diego County Ability to work independently in a field-based environment Compensation and Benefits
