Job Description
A successful Senior Estimator will:
Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects ranging from $5M to $25M. Collaborate
with project managers and stakeholders to ensure accurate budgeting and resource allocation. Analyze
project specifications, blueprints, and documentation to
determine
material and labor requirements. Negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve cost-effective solutions. Monitor and update estimates throughout the project lifecycle to reflect any changes. Provide technical
support
and guidance to the construction team. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards during the estimation process. Maintain accurate records and reports for future reference and audits. Strong
understanding
of commercial construction projects and estimation processes. Proficiency in using estimation software and tools. Excellent
analytical
and problem-solving skills. Ability to work
collaboratively
with cross-functional teams. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Commitment
to maintaining high-quality standards and meeting deadlines. What's on Offer
