Join a dynamic healthcare team in the Pacific Northwest region as a Certified Medical Assistant. This role is essential in supporting healthcare providers by delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring smooth clinic operations.

Job Summary

As a vital member of the clinical team, you will perform patient care duties within the scope of your certification, assist with treatments and procedures, and facilitate efficient patient flow. You will prepare patients for exams, document vital signs and complaints, and communicate test results as directed by providers. Additionally, you will administer immunizations under supervision, maintain accurate records, and coordinate referrals to ensure timely patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Perform patient care tasks and assist providers with treatments and procedures. Manage patient flow and communicate effectively with patients and staff to minimize wait times. Administer immunizations following proper protocols and documentation. Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records and inventory of supplies. Ensure cleanliness and infection control in exam rooms and clinical areas. Support specialty clinics including Sleep Medicine and float to other departments as needed. Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent. Graduate of an accredited certified medical assistant program. Licenses and Certifications

Current Medical Assistant Certification and Licensure as required by the state. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification obtained within 90 days of hire. Skills and Abilities

Strong knowledge of medical assistant duties and patient care techniques. Proficiency with electronic medical records and Microsoft Office. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize tasks, exercise independent judgment, and work collaboratively with healthcare teams.
