Job Summary:
The MRO Buyer is responsible for the procurement of Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) items for two manufacturing locations. This role involves managing vendor relationships, processing purchase orders, and maintaining inventory levels to support plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute MRO purchase orders
Resolve invoice discrepancies
Monitor inventory and reorder points
Expedite and reschedule shipments as needed
Maintain ethical supplier interactions
Identify and evaluate MRO suppliers
Review and adjust contracts quarterly
Act as MP2 system advisor
Generate reports and manage motor consignments
Coordinate radio repairs and replacements
Qualifications:
High school diploma required; further education is a plus
1-3 years of MRO or maintenance purchasing experience preferred
Knowledge of manufacturing purchasing procedures
Strong organizational and communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office; MP2 experience is a plus
Pay Details:
$21.00 to $26.00 per hour
