We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Indirect Buyer to join a manufacturing client of ours. The Indirect Buyer will be responsible for procuring indirect goods and services, ensuring cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Source and purchase indirect materials and services (e.g., corporate services, MRO, fleet).
Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
Collaborate with internal departments to understand purchasing needs.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier performance.
Monitor market trends and supplier capabilities to optimize procurement strategies.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred).
2+ years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in manufacturing.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Pay Details:
$65,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
