The Network Automation Engineer III is a senior technical role responsible for leading complex network automation projects across multi-domain environments. You will design and implement enterprise-grade automation solutions, guide technical teams, and collaborate directly with customers to ensure successful delivery. This role balances deep hands-on engineering with strategic influence, including shaping solution architecture, mentoring junior engineers, and providing field insights that inform product development. Accountabilities

As a Network Automation Engineer III, you will: Lead end-to-end network automation projects, including firewall automation, load balancer orchestration, cloud network integration, and compliance workflows. Design, implement, and maintain multi-domain automation solutions using Python, Ansible, Terraform, and other frameworks. Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on technical best practices and solution design. Collaborate with architects, product teams, and customers to align implementations with business and technical requirements. Integrate automation solutions with enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow, Infoblox, and NetBox. Support pre-sales and technical workshops, translating complex technical concepts for customer stakeholders. Influence product roadmap with practical insights derived from real-world implementations. Contribute to process improvements, knowledge sharing, and automation standards across the organization. Requirements

Candidates should have:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of experience in network automation or enterprise network engineering. Proficiency in Python scripting, Ansible, Jinja2, REST APIs, JSON, SSH, and Linux environments. Deep understanding of network devices and configurations, including firewalls, switches, routers, load balancers, and cloud networks (Palo Alto, F5, Cisco, Arista). Familiarity with infrastructure and change management platforms such as ServiceNow, Infoblox, and NetBox. Experience with Terraform and cloud networking environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients and cross-functional teams. Problem-solving mindset with proactive identification and implementation of automation opportunities. Experience leading customer implementations, workshops, or technical teams is highly desirable.
