Role: Auto Software Test Analyst
Client: Virginia Government
Locaton : Richmond, VA (Hybrid)
Job Description:
Evaluate test automation tools and lead the transition from manual to automated testing. Build and implement test automation frameworks, provide QA support, and define/update quality standards. Develop Automation Framework, scripts and script maintenance as well as train existing QA team staff on editing / maintaining scripts.
Responsibilities Include:
Designing and implementing automation tests, debugging and defining corrective actions Developing and executing automated test scripts using testing software programs Identifying, analyzing and creating detailed records of problems that appear during testing, such as defects, bugs, errors, and inconsistencies Reviewing system requirements Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products INTERVIEWS: If selected, the initial interview will be via TEAMS and then a second follow up panel interview will follow. That follow up IV with the panel DOES NOT have to be in person. A skill exercise will be part of the interview process also as the team has spoken with candidates who show years and years of experience on paper...but sometimes we find that's not the case. So to re-cap: there will be one basic interview and the second (more of an interactive one) to test their experience.

JIRA and Zephyr plug in: 8 years (Preferred) software development and software quality assurance: 8 years (Preferred) knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes: 10 years (Preferred) writing clear, concise comprehensive test plan, test cases: 10 years (Preferred) automated testing tools: 10 years (Preferred) Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting: 8 years (Preferred) automation frameworks like Selenium and Playwright: 8 years (Preferred) collaborate with S/W developers, project managers,: 8 years (Preferred) Ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines : 8 years (Preferred) Maintain and executing automated testing scripts: 8 years (Preferred) Designing and developing automation scripts : 8 years (Preferred) Advanced programming skills including automation systems: 8 years (Preferred) Design and prioritize automation scenarios,: 8 years (Preferred) Develop and maintain robust automation scripts: 8 years (Preferred)
Compensation: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
