Contract Length: 12 months with the possibility of extending based on performance. Richmond, VA candidates ONLY required. Parking NOT provided ON SITE REQUIRED: 2 days a week ON SITE. INTERVIEWS:

If selected, the initial interview will be via TEAMS and then a second follow up panel interview will follow. That follow up IV with the panel DOES NOT have to be in person. A skill exercise will be part of the interview process also as the team has spoken with candidates who show years and years of experience on paperbut sometimes we find thats not the case. So to re-cap: there will be one basic interview and the second (more of an interactive one) to test their experience. About the role

Evaluate test automation tools and lead the transition from manual to automated testing. Build and implement test automation frameworks, provide QA support, and define/update quality standards. Develop Automation Framework, scripts and script maintenance as well as train existing QA team staff on editing / maintaining scripts. Responsibilities Include:

Designing and implementing automation tests, debugging and defining corrective actions Developing and executing automated test scripts using testing software programs Identifying, analyzing and creating detailed records of problems that appear during testing, such as defects, bugs, errors, and inconsistencies Reviewing system requirements Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products Required/Desired Skills

Proven work experience in software development and software quality assurance Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plan and test cases Hands on experience with automated testing tools Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting Highly skilled in using automation frameworks like Selenium and Playwright Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with software developers, project managers, and other team members Ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality work Maintain and executing automated testing scripts Designing and developing automation scripts to validate functionality, accuracy, and efficiency of software product Advanced programming skills including automation systems Advance Programming skills, a keen eye for details Design and prioritize automation scenarios, building comprehensive test suites to ensure product quality and reliability Develop and maintain robust automation scripts Hands-on experience of creating test solution from scratch Experience scripting using Visual Studio Test Edition with Selenium plug-in and Playwright BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject Experience using JIRA and Zephyr plug in for test script management and execution
