About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic Chief Healthcare Officer (CHO) to join our leadership team. As the CHO, you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing our clinical and behavioral health development strategies. This position is vital for administering, maintaining, and expanding our primary and preventative medical and behavioral health programs within a community healthcare setting. You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, comprehensive, and patient-centered healthcare services for both adults and children, adhering to the professional standards and guidelines set forth by the State of Michigan.
Successful candidates will hold a Doctorate in Medicine, possess a valid and unrestricted medical license in Michigan, and be board certified by the American Board of Medicine. We require at least 5 years of clinical and executive leadership experience, with a strong emphasis on fiscal and medical staff management. Experience within an integrated care system, particularly working with individuals facing mental illness, substance use disorders, and co-occurring conditions, is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in current healthcare trends, have experience in clinical risk management, and demonstrate strong interpersonal and leadership abilities. We seek a collaborative leader with a proven track record of achieving results and exceptional communication skills.
