Function of Position:
Lead engaging campus tours for prospective students and their families
Provide friendly, informative support at the Admissions Front Desk
Staff the Information Booth, helping visitors navigate campus and answer questions
Assist with admissions-related events and outreach activities
Uphold a professional image by wearing the MCC polo shirt while on duty

Examples of Duties & Responsibilities:
Greet and assist visitors at the Admissions Front Desk, answering questions and providing accurate information about MCC programs, services, and campus life
Support Admissions operations, including assembling Admissions folders and stuffing Acceptance Letters for distribution
Lead welcoming and informative campus tours for prospective students and their families
Help set up, staff, and break down Admissions events such as Open Houses, Information Sessions, and Orientation activities etc
Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
Applicants must be Federal Work Study eligible (you can confirm your eligibility with a Financial Aid representative)
Be currently enrolled at Monroe Community College and in good academic and judicial standing
Demonstrate reliability and professionalism in all responsibilities
Possess strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Exhibit punctuality and maintain a consistent work schedule
Reliable Transportation
Wear the MCC polo and name tag during all work assignments to uphold a professional appearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in customer service, public speaking, or peer mentoring
Familiarity with MCC's programs, services, and campus resources
Enthusiastic, outgoing personality with a passion for helping others
Comfort speaking to small or large groups during campus tours or events
Willingness to work evening and weekend events as needed
Bilingual and able to read, write, and speak Spanish, or other languages, proficiently
Additional Information:
Pay Rate: $15.50/hour
Hours per week: Up to 20 hours/week
