Position Overview
We are looking forward-thinking IT Manager to lead our technology operations and drive innovation at Mt. Hood Meadows. In this year-round, salaried role, you'll oversee all IT infrastructure, data security, systems support, and network operations across the resort. You'll manage a dedicated team, collaborate with leadership on long-term strategy, and help implement technology that elevates both guest experience and internal efficiency. If you're a hands-on leader with a passion for problem-solving, team development, and keeping systems running smoothly, even at 7,000 feet, this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact in a dynamic mountain environment.
This is a Full-Time, Year-Round Benefitted position
Qualifications and Experience:
19 years of age or older for company insurance purposes Valid driver's license and ability to pass driving background record check Bachelor's degree in computer related field or equivalent experience Demonstrated computer and network problem solving and analytical skills Hands-on experience repairing computers and IT equipment Solid understanding desktop operating systems and business applications (point of sale, efficiency and teamwork software, etc.) Understanding of WAN, LAN, telephony, server, storage and security technologies and standard methodologies Ability to balance and prioritize a heavy workload of tasks Excellent communication skills over multiple communication channels: email, slack, phone and in-person. Must be comfortable public speaking and presenting Availability to work weekends and holidays in all seasons and flex schedule/hours to meet resort needs Employment in this position is subject to satisfactory background screening Preferred Experience
Applicable IT Professional Certification(s) Demonstrated leadership experience managing an IT department and training a team of IT professionals Hospitality industry and point of sale experience Previous experience implementing new software or hardware at an organization Prior experience managing system cybersecurity Proven financial success in managing budgets Advanced skiing or riding skills to be able to access on mountain IT equipment Knowledge / Experience in any of the following: Microsoft Server administration F&B and/or retail points of sale such as Micros, RTP, etc. SQL Server administration Exchange Server administration including hybrid Virtualized environments including vmWare, Hyper-V, Docker Content management systems such as Strapi, WordPress, etc. Collaboration tools such as SharePoint, Confluence, Jira Programming Skills: C#, Javascript, Python, PHP, SQL Telephone systems Compensation:
Salary:
$3190 - $3828 gross per bi-weekly pay period Benefits:
