Bear Mountain Healthcare is actively seeking an experienced and motivated Director of Nursing for our skilled nursing facility in Sudbury, MA.
About the Facility: Beautifully landscaped grounds allow residents and visitors peaceful and beneficial outdoor space. Bear Mountain meets the short-term rehab, long-term care and respite care needs of patients and their families—always with attention, understanding, compassion, and respect.
THE POSITION: The Director of Nursing (DON/DNS) is responsible for the clinical oversight, planning, quality, and supporting of the nursing services within the organization. The Director of Nursing ensures all Department of Health Regulations are adhered to. Compliance with All State and Federal Guidelines required. The position reports to the Facility Administrator.

Requirements:
RN License in the state required. – BSN preferred
At least two (2) years’ experience in a supervisory capacity in a long-term care facility, including geriatric and/or psychiatric nursing preferred.
Must have demonstrated a mastery of good clinical nursing skills.
Training in rehabilitation and restorative nursing care.
Ability to incorporate all aspects of nursing in total resident care plan.
Ability to organize, plan and supervise the nursing service departments.
Must be fully vaccinated per MA regulations
