System Administrator
. This role provides support to the U.S. Space Forces mission of delivering warfighter capability via the Space Systems Command's Space Combat Power weapon system portfolio. This position is available in
El Segundo, California
.

Performs high-level, day-to-day operational maintenance, support, and upgrades for complex operating systems, workstations and servers.
Coordinates, directs and performs complex software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages.
Schedules installations and upgrades and maintains them in accordance with established IT policies and procedures.
Ensures workstation/server data integrity by evaluating, implementing, and managing appropriate software and hardware solutions of varying complexities.
Develops, implements and promotes standard operating procedures and schedules.
Conducts hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines. Incumbent develops and implements new standards, policies and procedures.
Works closely with remote Network and Systems Analysts to help determine and develop the systems that will be implemented.
Qualifications
This is you:
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of related experience (4 years of experience may be used in lieu of degree) with:
IT system administration support and system maintenance
Computer systems configuration, hardening, monitoring and maintenance
Active Directory tasks and requirements
Windows desktop and server operating systems and Microsoft Exchange operations
Information Security
Video Tele-Conference (VTC) hardware and software systems
IAT Level II - Sec+ or higher certification
Must have an in-scope security background investigation (T5 or SSBI), adjudicated for SCI eligibility and enrolled in the Continuous Evaluation program (if applicable).
Must be willing to be nominated for access to Sensitive Compartment Information and Special Access Programs and willing to consent to a Polygraph examination.
Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
