Industrial Maintenance Technician - Competitive Pay

Join our dynamic maintenance team and play a critical role in ensuring that our production equipment operates at peak performance. As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on various machinery in a safe and timely manner. Key Responsibilities: Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other machinery components. Troubleshoot and repair machinery, including slitters, collectors, high-speed welders, conveyors, and palletizers. Install and maintain pipe systems, as well as hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. Repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and other essential equipment. Perform building maintenance tasks, which include minor plumbing, welding, and general upkeep. Address electrical issues as they arise and conduct necessary repairs. Familiarize yourself with our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and accurately log labor and parts used. Understand quality standards and adhere to PPE, safety, and compliance policies and procedures. Follow good manufacturing practices to maintain inventory, complete preventative maintenance tasks, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Willing to work overtime, including weekends and off-shifts as necessary. Participate in the on-call program and be prepared to work additional hours on an off-shift basis if required. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. A technical degree in a maintenance-related field is preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing environment, with a strong ability to troubleshoot; metal manufacturing experience is a plus. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining effective team communication. Experience with welding, cutting, and the use of various machine and hand tools is preferred. Familiarity with high-speed packaging, welding, and mechanical power transmission is advantageous. Experience with PLC systems is preferred. Strong attention to detail is essential.
