Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
to join the
Heart & Vascular Institute Clinic
in Dayton, Ohio. The CMA will
manage patient flow, assist providers in treatment, and ensure high-quality patient care
across various age groups, from infants to geriatrics. This role involves
both clinical and administrative duties
to support the healthcare team in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Job specification
Manage patient flow and assist providers with exams, procedures, and treatments. Perform standard rooming processes, including taking vital signs, patient histories, and preparing exam rooms. Administer immunizations, injections, and medications as directed by the provider. Provide front desk support, including patient check-ins and scheduling. Order and stock medical supplies to ensure clinic readiness. Follow principles and standards as outlined in the Corporate Code of Conduct. Ensure confidentiality and security of patient records and health information. Candidate requirements
Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED). Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program. Current BLS Certification. Previous experience in a
clinical setting. Ability to
prioritize multiple tasks efficiently
in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in
computer software applications
for documentation and scheduling. Must have reliable transportation
for travel to local worksites (Occupational Medicine). Preferred:
Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent). Experience with
electronic health record (EHR) systems.
