Work 2 out of 4 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year's Day) Float Requirement:
May float to Fanny Allen Ambulatory Campus; flexibility required CVOR RN Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license - required for all travel nurse jobs BLS certification (American Heart Association) - required CNOR certification - preferred for cardiovascular OR nurse roles Minimum 1 year of recent CVOR experience (will consider slightly less with strong skills in a similar teaching hospital) Experience circulating in the operating room required; scrub experience preferred Recent Epic EMR experience (within past 2 years) required Experience in a large, teaching hospital setting required Strong knowledge in ortho, robotics, general surgery, ENT, plastics, and neuro procedures Reliable personal or rental vehicle required (public transportation not accessible) Vehicle must have all-season or snow tires November-April (Vermont travel nurse safety requirement) CVOR Nurse Responsibilities
Deliver expert nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Circulate and (preferably) scrub for a variety of surgical procedures Participate in call and weekend rotations as scheduled Float to Fanny Allen Ambulatory Campus as needed Collaborate with the heart team and surgical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes Document all care accurately in Epic EMR Maintain flexibility for rotating shifts and required holiday coverage Ensure complete documentation of work history and employment gaps for submission
