12-hour rotating shifts (Monday-Sunday; every other weekend required) Hours per Week:
36 Estimated Weekly Salary:
$2200-$2360 Holiday Coverage:
Must work 2 of 4 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year's Day) Orientation:
Bi-weekly on Mondays (next available: November 3) ER Registered Nurse Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Vermont or compact state) Minimum 2 years of recent emergency room (ER) nursing experience Experience in large (500+ bed) teaching hospital required EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years (required) Prior travel nursing experience preferred; may be waived for strong ER backgrounds Required certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, NIH Stroke Scale, TNCC (proof prior to start) Preferred certifications: CEN, ENPC, MOAB, ProAct, or other de-escalation training (e.g., CPS) Reliable personal or rental vehicle required (no public transportation access) Vehicle must have all-season or snow tires November-April ER RN Responsibilities
Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a busy, high-acuity ED Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to assess, plan, and implement patient care Respond rapidly to medical emergencies and perform life-saving interventions Accurately document patient care using EPIC EMR Participate in bi-weekly orientation and ongoing professional development Maintain flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays Follow hospital policies, protocols, and safety/de-escalation procedures
