Job Summary:
The Dosing Lead is responsible for the efficiency of all activities in the Dosing Department, including direct interface leadership with operators and management. They are responsible for the safety, quality, and productivity of all equipment and personnel.
Job Responsibilities : Development - Train or re-train, develop to retain a strong experience dosing team. WMS & ERP Expertise - Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for picking and staging processes within our Warehouse Management System (WMS) and related modules in our ERP system. Provide hands-on-training for the team, troubleshoot system issues, and identify opportunities for process and system optimization. Dosing organization and management - review the daily goals ensuring that the department is fully capable of producing to its full capacity and functional by meeting safety, quality and proactivity. Receiving of Incoming WIP from WHS
- Receiving of requested WIP, verifying that the BIO is fully staged to the correct amount in timely manner, and appropriate transactions is being performed by moving the BIO to the correct WIP location in the dosing department. Sending WIP to WHS to store in location
- Ensure that the pallets are taken to the warehouse are properly palletized, correct information that is needed BIO, SKU, QTTY and manage of what is being sent out to dosing to store in the Warehouse to prevent inventory discrepancies. Documentation
- fully trained to assist on batch record closure and updating the weekly schedule. Send out email for any communication needed within production systems. Continuous & Technical Improvement
- Identify and implement improvements to picking and staging processes, focusing on enhancing efficiency, safety, and inventory accuracy. Stay abreast of new technologies and best practices to optimize material flow. Operator needs (trouble shooting)
- capability to trouble shoot any asset in the Dosing Department, Encapsulation, Compression and Coating. This key factor is to support others and train to prevent and minimize down time. Schedule Adherence/Labor
- Monitor OEE and daily priority. The weekly Dosing schedule needs to be met by driving OEE an operating equipment on auto with the appropriate head count that is required by asset or process. Reporting
- Measure, track and monitor all assigned Dosing KPI's (key Performance Indicators.) Job Requirements :
Is attentive and follows safe work practices. Able to proficiently operate all Dosing Department equipment in accordance with current SOP's. Able to lead and direct the work of others. Frequently walk, stand, bend, reach throughout shift. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds. Climbing and balancing on ladders or step stools to reach high areas. Comply with GMP clean room PPE. High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience sufficient to: Proficiently read, speak and write English in accordance with FDA requirements for recordkeeping and encapsulation purposes. Perform basic mathematical calculations-add, subtract multiply, divide, percentages. Understand and abide by 21 CFR Part 111.
