Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Process Engineer specializing in Injection Molding to join our team in Peachtree City, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing injection molding processes, improving product quality, and driving efficiency in our manufacturing operations.

Analyze and optimize injection molding processes to improve product quality, cycle times, and overall efficiency

Develop and implement process control strategies using statistical process control (SPC) techniques

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives

Design and conduct experiments to evaluate new materials, processes, and equipment

Lead root cause analysis for quality issues and implement corrective actions

Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget constraints

Provide technical support and training to production personnel on injection molding processes and best practices

Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in injection molding

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or a related field

Minimum of 5 years of experience in injection molding process engineering

Extensive knowledge of injection molding processes, plastic materials, and their properties

Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD

Strong understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis techniques

Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies

Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Six Sigma certification is

Demonstrated track record of implementing process improvements and optimizing manufacturing operations
