HR Projects, Compliance & Learning Coordinator

Division: Human Resources; Department/Office: Human Resources. St. Catherine University and the Human Resources Department invite applications for a full-time HR Projects, Compliance & Learning Coordinator position. The HR Projects, Compliance & Learning Coordinator provides cross-functional project coordination, compliance tracking, and training facilitation to support St. Catherine University's Human Resources team. The role ensures timely execution of recurring HR processes, maintains critical compliance and policy records, coordinates employee relations case logistics, and delivers HR-run orientations and training sessions. This position bridges operational gaps across recruitment, benefits, ER/Title IX, and policy management, allowing HR leadership and specialists to focus on strategic priorities. Responsibilities

Develop and maintain process checklists and playbooks for recurring HR workflows. Manage project intake, tracking, and reporting for HR initiatives. Maintain the HR operational calendar, including compliance deadlines, training cycles, policy rollouts, and audit timelines. Support delivery preparation for major HR presentations, SLT deliverables, and reports. Maintain rosters for required trainings (e.g., Title IX, annual compliance) and track completions in the LMS. Coordinate with HRIS to ensure LMS updates, module changes, and system data integrity. Conduct regular personnel file audits to ensure accuracy and retention compliance. Track HR-related legislative and policy changes, updating the pending changes tracker. Assist with initial drafting and formatting of HR policy updates, including plain-language summaries. Manage intake documentation for ER and employee Title IX matters in Maxient. Schedule ER/Title IX-related interviews and meetings, prepare summaries, and track deadlines and follow-up actions. Maintain ER/Title IX dashboards in collaboration with HRIS. Facilitate HR-run orientations and trainings, including: Student Employment Orientation (with Financial Aid). RA/CA compliance modules (workplace expectations, Title IX). New Employee HR Orientation (with Recruitment & Retention Lead). Maintain training materials, track attendance, and collect participant feedback. Ensure annual compliance trainings are updated, scheduled, and tracked. Support recruitment tasks such as reference checks or job posting reviews. Provide benefits support during high-volume periods (open enrollment, onboarding). Assist with event logistics for HR-led trainings, recognition events, or staff development sessions. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 2+ years in HR, compliance, training coordination, or related administrative/project role. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable facilitating small group trainings. Proficient with MS Office/Google Suite; experience with LMS, HRIS, or case management systems preferred. Preferred Qualifications: Detail Orientation: Maintains accurate records and tracks deadlines without close supervision. Process Mindset: Creates and maintains workflows for repeatable success. Confidentiality: Handles sensitive data and conversations with discretion. Collaboration: Works effectively with diverse stakeholders across HR and the University. Adaptability: Shifts focus based on HR's operational peaks and changing priorities. Compensation:

The salary for this position is $40,000-$51,000, depending on qualifications and experience. Note:

The salary range listed reflects a good-faith estimate of what we reasonably anticipate to pay for this position, based on market data and internal equity, at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
