About the Role

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Aspen Trace, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents during the day shift from 6 am to 2 pm. Your primary responsibility will be to assist residents with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. You will work closely with nursing staff to monitor residents' health and report any changes in their condition. This position requires compassion, patience, and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our residents. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to a supportive and nurturing environment that promotes the physical and emotional health of those in our care.

Job Responsibilities

Assist residents with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing. Help residents with mobility and physical activities, including transferring and repositioning. Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any significant changes to nursing staff. Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a positive atmosphere. Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, adhering to health and safety regulations. Minimum Qualifications

Current certification as a Nursing Assistant in the state. High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in a long-term care or assisted living facility. Basic knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare practices.
