Associate Production/Inventory Coordinator (Level 2)
to join our dynamic team in
Sylmar, California .
Spectrolab is the world's leading merchant supplier of the highest efficiency multijunction solar cells for spacecraft power systems, with proven reliability drawn from 65 years of space heritage. Spectrolab's state-of-the-art space solar cells and panels power satellites in Earth's orbit, as well as the International Space Station.
Position Responsibilities:
Processes and moves production and other materials into and out of storage, production and other locations to support the flow of production following standard work instructions Monitors work in process Communicates status of parts and materials using automated systems and manual reporting methods to insure parts availability Identifies and solves problems or discrepancies of limited scope with parts and materials using established procedures or processes Coordinates with various functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays Works under general supervision This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position is for 2nd shift
(2:00 PM until 11:30 PM) ,

owever, candidates must be willing to work any shift, weekends, and overtime as required. Note:
for training purposes, the first 3 months are typically on 1st shift.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Experience supporting Operations, Materials Management and/or Supply Chain functions in a production environment Ability to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8 and/or 9 hour shift Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Minimum of High School Diploma or GED Experience with inventory, stocking, and cycle counting Experience with the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Project Experience using SAP Typical Education/Experience:
High School diploma/GED and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Education (e.g. Vocational, Associate, Bachelor, etc.) preferred, but not required.
Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
Travel:
Position may require travel up to 5% of the time.
