Description Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in either inpatient or outpatient environments and craft personalized treatment strategies Implement physical therapy interventions emphasizing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function Collaborate closely with nurses, physicians, case managers, and rehabilitation professionals to enhance patient outcomes Guide patients and their families on therapeutic goals, discharge procedures, and home exercise programs Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress, adhering to facility policies and regulatory standards Engage in interdisciplinary team meetings and clinical discussions to ensure cohesive and coordinated care Education

Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution Certifications

Must hold state licensure as a

Licensed Physical Therapist CPR certification is preferred but not mandatory Additional certifications in specialized areas (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are beneficial but not required Skills

Previous experience in a physical therapy setting is strongly preferred Ability to treat patients facing complex medical and mobility challenges Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Familiarity with digital charting and clinical documentation systems Benefits
